From Sydney: take the F3 from Wahroonga to the Cessnock exit. In Cessnock, turn right into Vincent Street, left at its intersection with Maitland Road, and almost immediately right into Allandale Road. After 5kms on Allandale Road, turn right into Lovedale Road at the Hunter Valley Golf and Country Club. Follow Lovedale Road for 6kms, turn left into Wilderness Rd. Wilderness Grove is 800metres on the left.

From the Northwest: At Greta, turn right off the New England Highway into Nelson Street at the eastern end of town. Follow Nelson Street to Lovedale Road and turn right. Wilderness Rd is the next intersection on the right.

From Newcastle: 2km west of Lochinvar, turn left into Allandale Road and follow for 6kms. Turn right into Wilderness Rd.
